Update from the President (Roland)

Just been watching the whales swim past, cool 24 degree today. Plenty going on in the Cooks with record numbers of visitors to the Island!

We have just completed our 100km bike challenge with some impressive results. To read the race summary please click here.

Triathlon training has started the Uncle Toms & PTS Adventure race, held on Saturday 23 August 2025. 1.2k sup, then 12k mountain bike, 2.4k steep hill run, 8k mountain bike again, 2.1k  mountain run again, and finish with a muddy 4k mountain bike ride!

We are pleased to announce that we have Maya Postrzygzygacz going to the worlds in Wollongong in October. If you have also qualified make sure you say hello to her in Wollongong.

We miss you all so much! Luckily we only have just over nine months to wait!!!

Ariki Adventures Turtle Tours

Many triathlon visitors have added the award winning Ariki Adventure Turtle Tour to their race week experience over the years. With the week already so busy and people finding that when they get to the island it's too late to book we want to get people to book before they arrive in Rarotonga. The idea is to have as many of us as possible enjoy this amazing experience swimming with turtles.

The best option for the tour is on the Friday with times dedicated by the tides. Please watch our socials and future editions on how to book this add-on to the week.

Thanks to Ariki Adventures we are thrilled to announce that 10% of every booking will be used to plant trees in the North Islands of the Cook Islands. The gender of turtles is determined by the temperature in the sand so more trees are needed to make sure that more male turtles are born!

Click here (www.arikiadventures.com) for more information on Ariki Adventure tours.

We love seeing other communities join ours.

Race week on ‘the Rock’ hits different — the energy, the sunshine, and the incredible people from all corners who show up to represent their clubs, crews and communities.

Do you have pics from your ‘Triathlon in Paradise’ experience or know of anyone who may have some of theirs? If so, tag us and your club so that we can share the aroha or email it to us so that we can post it directly. We’d love to see content from the early days as we don’t have much!

Race packs

Have you noticed race packs for events used to be way cooler?

We're proud to say ours are still one of the best around, all thanks to our awesome sponsors!

Share the Love!

Please pass this email on to anyone that you think maybe interested in joining us in 2026 and get them to join our mailing list by clicking here so they don’t miss out on future updates.
