GETTING HERE

RAROTONGA, COOK ISLANDS

With direct flights from Auckland, Sydney, LA and Tahiti, getting to paradise is a breeze.

FLIGHT TIPS

We work closely with Air New Zealand who provide frequent flights to our island of Rarotonga. Some visitors prefer to work with a travel agent and others enjoy browsing online to find their ideal flights. Either way, please let us know if you have any questions while you plan your trip!

GETTING AROUND

Rarotonga is an island with a 31km paved road around the perimeter. You may wish to hire a car or scooter so you can explore, get to the events or go shopping.

Note that the maximum speed limit around is 50km/h except through Avarua (Town) and Muri where this is reduced to 30km/h.

If you are looking into hiring a vehicle we recommend using our event sponsor Island Car & Bike Hire

They have pickup locations near Edgewater Resort, Muri lagoon, in Avarua, and an option to collect/drop off from the airport.

Special rates are being offered for vehicles hired during the 2020 Triathlon Festival period (availability may be limited).

Raro Tri Festival rates shown below. Please contact Island Car & Bike Hire directly and be sure to quote code TRI20
