Event Waiver

By completing and submitting a race registration form for a Cook Island Triathlon Association event:

1. I agree to comply with the conditions of entry, rules, regulations and instructions applicable.
2. For myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, I agree to waive and release from all claims for injuries and damages I may have against the organising committee; volunteers; sponsors; or the Government of the Cook Islands; their agents and representatives caused by the negligence of any of them arising out of my participation in the events and/or any associated activities.
3. I hereby acknowledge that I am solely responsible for any and all of my personal belongings or equipment.
4. I hereby confirm and verify that I am physically fit and have undertaken appropriate training for the events.
5. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident and/or illness sustained by me during or after the events or any associated activity.
6. I hereby permit the free use of my name, picture or photograph(s) in broadcasts, telecasts, and videos or in any media presentation in connection with the events and any associated activities that the organizers deem appropriate.
7. If registering on behalf of other competitors I have sought and received from those competitors confirmation of acceptance of all waiver terms listed above.
