Fromthe Cook Islands Triathlon Association we extend a warm welcome to the 17th annual Air New Zealand Rarotonga International Triathlon.
We invite you to experience a triathlon in an island paradise - a swim in warm clear water of one of the South Pacific’s most beautiful lagoons, a cycle around the entire island and a run along palm fringed roads.
If you are looking for a different sort of race, this is one that most club level and age group competitors will enjoy. This race is high in enjoyment and with the opportunity to sample Polynesia – its islands and its laid back lifestyle.
The event was recently covered in the September
2009 issue of the New Zealand Multisport and Triathlete magazine, and was previously
reported on in the July 2008 issue.
A short video of the 2010 Triathlon has been posted and will give you a flavour of the event (you might find yourself in it somewhere if you did this race.) <2010 Raro Tri Video>.
